I am excited to have been able to spec out gear and help build Studio DY over the summer of 2024. Studio DY is dedicated in memory of recording engineer Michael Dy, a graduate of Newfane. Mike was a brilliant engineer and Multiplatinum winning hometown hero with credits ranging from Tim McGraw, Joe Cocker, Hole, Faith Hill, Phil Collins, B.B. King, Green Day and many others. It was the intent of the Dy family to keep Mike’s energy flowing through his hometown through Studio DY.
In order to help accomplish this and to bring new music technology offerings to Newfane, I am thrilled to be working as a teaching artist under ASI and NYSCA for the 2024-2025 year.
We have been gathering steam, and are working on lots of exciting recording, production, composition, and live sound projects!
