I have been fascinated by things that go boing ever since childhood. As a child, I spent countless hours exploring the sounds I could make out of the things in our family home. The boing of those little door stopper spring thingies was something that made my young brain wiggle. In reflecting, I realize that I have played with sound every day of my life since I was a child. I believe in the transformative power of sound. I am interested in spacialization, anamnesis, micro-sound, the differences between and the juxtaposition of lo-fi and hi-fi sound, and the notion that energy, intent, and spirit can be found and hidden within sound. Mostly though, I still am just fascinated by things that go boing. booooooiiiiinnnngggggggggggggggggggggggg…..
